Lamar Trailers Unclaimed

Lamar Trailers began in 2003 in a small red barn with two men and a few tools, and it remains a trailer manufacturer rooted in Sumner, Texas. The company now has more than 200 team members and has built more than 130,000 trailers.

Its lineup includes dump trailers, car haulers, equipment haulers, utility trailers, deckovers and tilt trailers, sold through dealers. Lamar says its goal has stayed the same since the start: build a dependable trailer for people who use one every day, treat people right and stand behind the work.

The company describes its faith as central to how it builds, leads and treats people, and its stated mission is to empower families as it builds God’s Kingdom. Its core values are to honor God, serve humbly and keep things simple. Since 2016 it has followed 2-Second Lean, a daily habit of small improvements that it says produces trailers that work harder, last longer and save customers time. Looking ahead, Lamar says it is focused on steady growth, dependable trailers and stable jobs for its workforce. Prospective dealers can apply through the company’s site, which also handles careers and warranty claims.
