Future Frame USA designs and manufactures wood wall frames, floor trusses and roof trusses at a plant in New Caney, in east Montgomery County. The East Montgomery County Improvement District reported in August 2022 that the company had opened in the district’s industrial park on Gene Campbell Boulevard as the first U.S. venture of a parent company based in Ireland. The company’s office is on Porter Road in Conroe.

The company pitches its process as an offsite, precision alternative to stick framing for Texas home builders, though the improvement district noted it custom-manufactures for residential and commercial jobs. Frames arrive on site in numbered order for faster assembly, and the company says the approach cuts construction time, waste and theft losses. Quality control in the factory relies on CAD-based technology, with set standards for materials, design, engineering and manufacturing. Future Frame says its team brings more than a century of combined international experience in offsite construction, and that the New Caney plant is being converted into an automated factory.

A company representative told the district that the location was chosen for shipping lanes reaching markets within 200 miles and for its access to a workforce. The Greater Houston Builders Association lists Future Frame USA at 18900 East Industrial Parkway in New Caney under wood roof and floor truss manufacturers.
