In 2000 it bought 6 acres in Pflugerville and developed a plant for floor and roof trusses, and in 2001 it became Buffalo Framing & Truss LLC and shipped its first manufactured truss.

The company completed its first multifamily component delivery and framing job in 2010 and built its first wall panel in 2020. In 2022 and 2023 it added 9 adjoining acres and built a new manufacturing facility for floor trusses, roof trusses and wall panels. Planning for a new on-site office began in 2026, with completion targeted for 2027.

Its services include turnkey framing, floor and roof trusses, wall panels, and framing lumber, siding and cornice packages, with separate contacts for single-family, multifamily and component manufacturing work. Receiving and delivery run on weekday schedules from the Three Points Road site, and the website is offered in English and Spanish. The Structural Building Components Research Institute lists Buffalo Framing & Truss in Pflugerville as a licensee.
