Fitment comes before anything else. Diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, center bore and load rating must all match the vehicle and how it will be used. Ask how a wheel was strength-tested and what load it is rated to carry, especially for trucks, towing or off-road driving. If the wheels will see road salt or harsh conditions, finish durability matters. Warranty terms, availability of matching replacements, compatibility with tire pressure sensors and lug hardware, and lead times on custom or special-order sizes are other fair questions.
