Every photograph in the site’s design (the home page hero, the industry tiles and the claim band) was taken in the United States. Each one is either a U.S. Government work in the public domain or a public-domain / CC0 photo by Carol M. Highsmith from the Library of Congress. None of them legally requires attribution; we credit the photographers and sources anyway. All were found through Wikimedia Commons.

The photos are used for illustration only. Their use doesn’t mean that any company shown, any company listed in the directory, or any U.S. Government agency endorses ManufacturersLists.
