What goes inside a plastic bottle decides most of what the bottle should be. Manufacturers in this category make containers for beverages, household chemicals, personal care products, medicines, food and industrial fluids, usually by blow molding resins such as PET, HDPE, LDPE and polypropylene. Many also supply caps, closures, sprayers and pumps, and some build custom molds for unique shapes.
For brand owners and packagers, the product’s chemistry, filling temperature and required shelf life all bear on resin choice and wall thickness. If the bottle will hold food, beverages or medicine, ask the supplier to confirm compliance for that use. Then work through stock versus custom designs, mold costs and ownership, minimum order quantities, color and clarity, recycled content, decoration such as labels or printing, and compatibility with your filling line. Empty containers are bulky, so warehousing and freight can be significant and supplier location may matter.
